Poo Poo Point Trail

Traditionally, the Poo Poo Point Trail begins at the Issaquah High School and is about 7.5 mi. We hiked the Poo Poo Point via Chirico Trail (4 mi), located a few miles down the road from the high school at the paraglider landing field.

Yakima River Canyon, about 20 miles long and 2,000 feet deep, located between Yakima and Ellensburg. This canyon has been designated as a state scenic route and offers excellent wildlife viewing, fishing, river rafting and camping.

Frenchman Coulee is a famous rock climbing area just across the Columbia River form I-90 in Central  Washington.

Lake Lenore Caves

Lake Lenore Caves is located along Lenore Lake just off Highway 17 South. Interpretive sign at the site said that the Lake Lenore Caves were formed during the last Ice Age, when catastrophic floods raged across much of Eastern Washington. These floods carved long, deep ravines, from solid basalt. These Caves were later used as temporary shelters by native people.
