Tacoma Museum of Glass and Dale Chihuly Works

Tacoma Museum of Glass: International Center for Contemporary Art was opened to the public in 2002. The museum focuses on Contemporary and Pacific Northwest glass-art.

The conical building was designed by a team of architects and engineers led by architect Arthur Erickson.

This four-story structure offers several levels of outdoor plazas. Reflecting pools and seating areas make these plazas perfect for relaxing and enjoying views of the waterfront.

The museum is linked to the downtown area via Bridge of Glass. The bridge consists of thousands of glass-art masterpieces created by Dale Chihuly.
